This late 19th to early 20th century Mason's Ironstone English hand painted & Chinoiserie decorated porcelain ceramic 10 1/2" dinner plate, features a Chinese roofed pagoda and a repeating floral motif, which circumnavigates the entire outer sill of this absolutely gorgeous plate. The distinctive Mason's red ink stamped maker's mark helps identify this Mandarin/Chinese themed decorative porcelain dinner plate, in that the word 'England' was added to the scroll & crown Mason's maker's mark in 1891, thus helping to date it to from between 1891 to approximately 1915, when Chinoiserie was widely popular and in vogue.
